An open day to remember.

Held over two days, Flinders University open day gave students a chance to experience what the Uni has to offer. We created two seperate interactive activations to help students decide which courses best suit them, and gave them the opportunity to personalise their own tote bags.

Flinders University prides itself on giving students
an education that prepares them for the real world.
So to engage prospective International Relations and Political Science students that are in touch with the day-to-day, those that have a genuine interest in what’s happening in and around the globe, we’ll challenge them to showcase their knowledge of the real world by figuring out what’s real and what’s not.

Our challenge for the students is that half of the headlines are fake. They have to decide which is which and swipe left for the fake news, and swipe right for the real ones. Headline topics will all be relevant to the International Relations and Political Science world. Those who correctly reveal enough fake from the real will be rewarded with an activation-relevant prize.

University open days can be an overwhelming experience for any student. With many courses to choose from, students get nervous about making the wrong decision about what to study. So we engaged perspective business students who were uncertain about which course best suits them by asking them simple questions about themselves.

With a series of simple questions we created an algorithm that customises a personalised tote bag for each student, and lets them know which course their personality best matches.
